The service

Shadow work is a self-reflection journaling tool. It is not therapy, medical care, or a substitute for either. If you are in crisis, please use the resources on our crisis page or contact your local emergency services.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password and recovery code safe. Because your entries are encrypted with a key derived from your password, losing both means your entries cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.

Billing

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel any time in one click from settings; you keep read and export access to everything you wrote after cancellation. We email a reminder two days before a free trial converts to a paid subscription.

Your content

Everything you write belongs to you. We cannot read it and claim no rights to it. You can export it or delete it at any time.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will email you before the change takes effect.
